Brenda May Eash/Ferry

Brenda did the following tasks everyday she lived having her morning cup of coffee, reading her books of mysteries and politics, and watching her favorite television shows. It was her daily routine. Law & Order, NCIS, The Shield, Murder She Wrote, Crossing Jordan, Cold Case Files, 60 Minutes, Larry King, Mexican Food, Flowers made the day, Bill Clinton “My Life”
It would take her a long time to get ready I think she holds the world record. Miss America, we called her at times. Daily she slept in late and when she woke up we called her, Sleeping Beauty. Taking her out to eat meant we could bathed three children, eat our breakfast, then we'd get get ready with in an hour and sometimes even let the kids nap. After all of that she might be ready. I thought an hour was long to get ready to go out Mom took the cake.
Funny: If our children were upset Mom would act like a monster and chase them around the house to cheer them up.
Comfort: Mom always knew if something was wrong. Any advice she had she’d offer especially when Herb and I became first time parents Mom had plenty of advice.
Energy: She loved music, Mom danced with the kids even though she had two hip replacements we were ready to catch her if she fell. “She Boogied” that is what she called it. Her favorite song was from Rod Stewart “If You Think I’m Sexy”. I was shocked hearing her say those words as we were listening to Rod Stewart on the radio. That's when we went out and bought her Rod Stewart's Greatest Hits, she played it allot.
Brenda never turned her back on anyone especially her loved ones. She never gave to charity, she said "charity is giving to your family." She talked to almost everyone. Her children were the most important people in her life and when each and every one of her kids called or she called them she was very excited about it. It made her feel special to hear from her family.
As I enclose my thoughts about Brenda a mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sister, mother –in-law. The in- law never described Brenda. She was a mother to the spouses of her kids. She welcomed us all with open arms. We were so lucky with the love she gave. She showed love everyday. Her presence and smile always lit up a room. Thank you Brenda for being there for us.
I ask the Lord to guide us at this difficult time, may she live in our hearts and precious memories.
"HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!" Brenda would say, we always talked about being the first to vote for Hillary Clinton!
